Athletic Training Intern
EMMA YONKERS comes to Pacific Crest from Glenview, Illinois, where she played trombone in high school marching band. By the summer of 2019, she will have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and will continue to pursue a Master’s degree in Athletic Training from Saint Louis University.
Emma studied abroad for a semester in Madrid, Spain, which sparked a strong desire to travel. This eventually led her to New Zealand, where she spent the fall of 2017 working at a school for children with cerebral palsy. Emma’s knowledge of the physical demands of marching and her love for the arts have drawn her to this opportunity to care for the members of Pacific Crest.
