Cambria “Cami” McCallum, RN, ATC
Head Athletic Trainer
While CAMI MCCALLUM did not participate in drum corps, she was heavily involved in performing arts in her youth. She participated in dance, gymnastics, and school music programs and competed/performed nationally and internationally with various marching bands as a member and drum major.
Cami earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Gonzaga University in 2011. She is currently licensed in Washington, Oregon, and California as a Registered Nurse, and she has been practicing in the ICU, Bone Marrow Transplant/pediatric oncology, high- acuity urgent care and orthopedic settings.
She went on to earn her Master’s degree from California Baptist University in 2017, graduating with her MS in Athletic Training. She has been a Certified Athletic Trainer since April of 2017. Cami is licensed in the state of Washington as an Athletic Trainer where she works at Seattle Children’s Hospital in the Department of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine and is the Head Athletic Trainer at Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart. Cami is developing a nursing position at the school as well. Additionally, she works outreach events and competitions for Varsity Cheer Association.
With medical experience in both the traditional and performing arts athletic settings, Cami is passionate about the world of sports medicine. She is certified in Tecnica Gavilan soft tissue mobilization, RockTape Fascial Movement Taping (FMT), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). She is also actively pursuing a yoga instructor certification.
